Mike’s hospitality journey begins in Wisconsin as a prep cook and dishwasher, he quickly moved to the front of the house and started serving tables. Wanting more, Mike moved to Minneapolis and started working in fine dining and quickly moved into management. Mike took that drive and passion and traveled to Hong Kong where he managed nightclubs in the famous Lan Kwai Fong entertainment district. After 3 years of missing winter, he knew it was time to come home to Minneapolis. Mikes knowledge and drive opened many doors and gave him the opportunity to work at and manage several iconic locations in Minneapolis over the years.

After graduating from The Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City, Payton has employed his knowledge of holistic and health supportive food practices in many creative avenues. From hosting intimate dining experiences as a private chef to large scale events, this Minnesota native is no stranger to creating ambiance. His passion and appreciation for food extends beyond the plate and into the connection a dining experience brings to those enjoying it. On a quest to surround himself with all things beautiful, Payton has an eye for detail and works meticulously to ensure all events he’s involved with run smoothly and perfectly.
